Death, Rest and Recovery

Campaign Houserules for Injury:

 

Death:

Being reduced to 0 HP automatically adds 1 level of Exhaustion.

Any successful hit while you are at 0 HP kills the target automatically.

 

Resting/Recovery:

Short Rests: 20 Minutes

Allow you to spend Hit Dice to Recover HP.

Long Rests: 8 Hours

Allow you to spend Hit Dice to Recover HP.

Recover all HD.

Remove 1 level of Exhaustion.

Regain all expended spell slots.

 

Healing Kit Dependency:

Characters can't spend any HD after a short rest until someone uses 1 use of a Healer's Kit to bandage/clean their wounds.
