Over the Sea and Far Away
Leveling and XP
When a PC attains enough xp to go up a level, they do not level automatically. They must find a trainer and spend time learning the skills of their new level. A PC keeps gaining XP while they wait to level, but they can only ever gain 1 level at a time, and must restart training for the next level, even if they have enough XP to go up multiple levels.

Carousing:
When a character is carousing, they must spend sp to continue the carouse. Carousing lasts 1 day/100 sp spent, and the silver is considered completely lost. At the end of any carouse, the player must roll once on the Carousing Table. Carousing characters do not have to pay lifestyle costs.
Spending Time:
A character can spend time in town or in the wilderness, honing their skills. In either case, the character must pay lifestyle expenses during this time. At the end of any spending time period they should roll on the wilderness or town event table to see what interesting thing happened during that time.
